LAND LEVEL
When we talk about leveling, we refer to the procedure that determines the unevenness between two or more points. One option is to compare several points with each other and determine their unevenness, and the other is to establish a new value, called height, that relates each one of those points taking another one as a reference, before beginning any construction activity, a leveling of the land must be carried out taking into account the measures embodied in the project and the construction plans.
The leveling will help us to solve the unknowns of altimetric differences, to define platform work heights, water evacuation slopes on public roads, unevenness in pipes, leveling of earthworks such as highways, soccer or crop fields, dikes, gardens , airport runways, etc.
There are multiple reasons why it is important to have the ground level before carrying out a construction:
Terrain type
Depending on the type of land on which you want to build, it is necessary to give it a specific treatment in order to achieve a solid base on which to build any type of building.
Solidity of construction
If we build the house on top of uneven ground, its foundations may suffer because the stresses generated are not distributed evenly, which can cause cracks and damage to the structure.
Greater ease of installation
Regardless of the size of the construction, if the ground is leveled in the best way before carrying it out, the entire process of construction and installation of subsequent systems will be expedited, so the deadlines will be reduced if we compare them with the construction of a work in a unleveled ground.
